Radio Brand Name Tubes
A warning appeared on virtually every old radio hinting at dire consequences if replacement tubes were not of the same make as the radio.  Shown here are some of the tubes they wanted you to use.  In most cases, the radio manufacturers didn't make their own tubes, but bought them from the major tube makers like RCA, Sylvania, and others.  Some samples from the 1930's and 1940's are shown here.
